Process Compensated Resonant Inspection (PCRI)

Process compensated resonant testing (PCRT) equipment provides high volume part manufacturers with exceptionally powerful inspection tools for detecting both visible and internal quality flaws. This leading edge technology is used to improve shipping quality by reliably detecting defects and anomalies affecting the structural integrity of critical parts.

Employing high speed mechanical resonance and pattern recognition algorithms developed from training sets of good and bad parts, the Quasar process compensated resonant inspection (PCRI) process is able to identify metal and ceramic parts with structural defects at higher throughput and accuracy levels than NDT methods.

Quasar 4000

This PCRT test system is designed for use in the inspection of high volume (>100,000 per year) metal and ceramic parts. It offers extreme accuracy and dependability at high throughput to minimize false positives, increasing yield and reducing per part inspection cost. The Quasar 4000 is well suited for the Automotive industry and similar demanding applications.


Quasar RUSpec

This Resonant Ultrasound Spectrometer (RUSpec) system offers extreme accuracy and speed in the measurement of material elastic constants and associated properties of metal and ceramic samples (including some composites) over a broad temperature range.
